We are ecstatic to be so busy with satisfied holiday makers, half term saw lots of family's who loved the zip-wire and the new platform. Especially since my son Silas moved the trampoline so he can somersault from the platform on to the trampoline.
I've added a Breakfast hamper to the extras list in the guest book and thought of a good idea for a treat box in each holiday barn but I'm not giving anything away!
This week me and Nick have been building a bike shelter down electric avenue - ready for bike hire, that's when he gets round to servicing them after a winter outside with only a dodgy bit of tarpaulin round them!
News on the Goose, the 5 baby's are getting massive, only 4 weeks old and they have grown 1/5 of the size of their parents, even some of their feathers are poking through all the fluff - they are looking less cute and more like an ugly duckling ready to blossom. Cleopatra & Baby BoBo are the girls and Jack and the unnamed twins are boys - suggestions on a postcard please. Our guests have enjoyed seeing them totter around the farm and feeding the young.
Just as an American family joined us in LakeView our American Diner arrived from Custom Counters - it is looking amazing, pictures are in the gallery. Can't wait to make the first ice-cream sundae.
Just when I've still got tons to do I decide to do more by planning a pop up restaurant - I like a challenge! On Saturday 20th July we'll be putting on a delicious event in Lodge Farm garden over looking the lake, Al Fresco Italian family style Norfolk and Med antipasti, with a choice of three desserts - bring you own wine and enjoy the musical entertainment for £15 per adult. Soz - SOLD OUT (except anyone staying at Lodge Farm Holiday Barns) Contact me for availability - end of June, July and August for a summer to remember.
